CHOQUEQUIRAO TREK IN PERU 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS
This religious center of Choquequirao is comparable to Machu Picchu, considering its complexity, the craftsmanship of its stone walls and stunning views. Also, we know Choquequirao as “the sacred sister” of the lost city of the incas.
The Choquequirao Trek 4 days lets you visit a real marvel of the Inca Culture. This spectacular place is located in the Vilcabamba Valley, surrounded by imposing snow mountains and flanked by deep canyons with dense vegetation.
In addition, the Choquequirao Trek 4 days is very challenging because of its steep ascents and descents. But well worth the effort for its panoramic views and ancient Inca ruins. There are also fewer amenities and crowds, which is a prime motivation for many serious hikers who want to enjoy a more unspoiled experience.
If you already visited Machu Picchu, now there is another excuse to visit the incomparable Choquequirao. Similarly, there is another hot destination called Rainbow Mountain, which you can know on a day hike from Cusco.

About the Trip

Perfect Trip to Cusco & Machu Picchu.
We had a fantastic experience using Mapi Tour. I reached out to a number of tour guides to help me plan my 1 week vacation to Lima/Cusco/Machu Picchu. I number of them where located in the United States so they seemed more like middlemen, but after interacting with David I felt the most comfortable working with him as a local tour operator with years of experience leading tours in Cusco and Machu Picchu. My wife and I did a tour of Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and added Rainbow mountain whilst we were in Cusco. David and his team - Karen, Freddy, and Eloy were very professional, friendly and supportive to our needs in making sure we were worry-free about our tours. I truly recommend using local tour guides and David if you are planning a trip to Peru.
I booked a tour for myself, my wife, and teenage daughter with Mapi Tour in January and we just completed it. What an excellent experience! David was our guide throughout the tour that included Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, Cusco, and Rainbow Mtn. As a guide, David is very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and well-organized. We had to change our original plan a little due to covid travel restrictions, but he was very accommodating and understanding. Overall an excellent experience. We will definitely call on their services when we return to Cusco in the future. Gracias, David!
Fell more in love with Peru!
It has always been on my bucket list to visit one of the most mysterious and spectacular peaks on earth.. Machu Picchu called - and I came!
A friend of mine recommended this company and I would say that it is a great choice! Mapi tour did a great job in taking care of us. I would like to give a shoutout to David for arranging our hotel bookings and tour itineraries. He even picked us up at the airport! Karen was our coordinator throughout our 4 day trip And I couldn’t ask for more. She was very reliable, and very organised. Our daily itinerary was clearly explained to us and all our questions were happily answered by our guides.
4 days is not enough as there is so much more to see but I would definitely come back and wont hesitate to contact David and Karen for my future trip. - An excellent team that I would definitely recommend to everyone.
