The Sacred Valley Inca Sites Tour begins with a pick up from your hotel at 7:30 am to head towards the Sacred Valley of the incas. We’ll travel in our private vehicle and stop at manos de la comunidad llama farm before going to the village of Pisaq. This town is one hour from Cusco, where we’ll also visit the distinctive handicraft market, where highly skilled residents design and sell traditional hand-made articles. Pisac is also known for its delicious artisanal bread baked in clay ovens, and its seasonal choclo (fresh corn) served with cheese or hot chili sauce. Then you’ll have a 1-hour guided tour of the archaeological site at Pisaq.
Afterward, we’ll continue our journey towards Urubamba for our lunch break. After lunch, we’ll explore the Inca village of Ollantaytambo. The town is set in a lovely valley surrounded by mountains that hide some of the most impressive sites in the Urubamba River valley. The extensive ruin features many levels and massive stone structures such as the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Hall, the Sun Dial (Intihuatana) and the baths of the Princess.
Finally, we will be assisted to our hotel in ollantaytambo.
