Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu takes travelers through the fantastic sacred valley of the incas. Then, our transportation follows a zizaging road to the top of the Mountain. After crossing the highest pass, our private vehicle goes down for less than an hour and reaches the starting point. Here, you begin the Inca Jungle Trail adventure with mountain bikes!

INCA JUNGLE TREK TO MACHU PICCHU 4 DAYS
BIKING, RAFTING, ZIPLINING & HIKING TO MACHU PICCHU
Day 1. – Cusco – Malaga Pass – Santa Maria
The first day of Inca Jungle Trek 4 days to Machu Picchu focuses on mountain biking. We’ll pick you up from your hotel early in the morning, driving through the Sacred Valley on our way to Abra (Pass) Malaga (4,350 masl). We’ll unload the bikes and your guide will give you safety guidelines.
You’ll begin an exhilarating downhill ride, descending from 4316m/14,00ft to 1200m/3900ft in just under 60km/37mi of distance. The ride is usually 4 -5 hours. It’s not very strenuous and you’ll pass the remarkable scenery of the cloud forests along with way.
In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Huyro, a jungle farming village (1,500 masl.), where we’ll stay the night in a locally-owned lodging and have dinner.

Day 2. – Inka Jungle Tour – Santa Maria – Hot Springs – Santa Teresa
Today we will start trekking early in the morning. We’ll enjoy the Andean lifestyle in the high jungle with its spectacular views, animals, and local, tropical crops such as coca, cocoa trees, and a variety of fruits. After four hours of walking at a leisurely pace through the lush forest, we get to our lunch spot at Quello Mayo.
This is an impressive location for those who love Mother Nature in her quiet glory. In about 3 more hours, we’ll arrive at natural hot springs and a swimming pool. We’ll spend the afternoon soaking and be swimming in the thermal springs, and then have a short hike in the small town of Santa Teresa. We’ll spend the night, have dinner, and you can stroll around town if you like.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 3. – Santa Teresa – Hydroeclectric – Aguas Calientes
After breakfast, we’ll go to the zipline base camp. here, you will begin the next stage of our Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu adventure.
Receive a safety briefing before you start this adventure activity.
You’ll be hitched into your safety harness, put on your gloves and helmet, and hung from the zip line. Away you’ll go! The zip line is in 6 sections that crisscross about 825ft/250m above the valley, for a total of approximately 2.5km/1.5mi of heart-pumping exhilaration.
Later, we’ll get a ride to the hydroelectric station where we’ll have lunch at a restaurant. We’ll continue walking along the train tracks until we arrive in Aguas Calientes at about 5:00 pm. We’ll stay the night in a hotel and have dinner.

Day 4. – Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu – Cusco
Today we get up very early in the morning to have breakfast and hike up about 45 minutes of stairs to Machu Picchu. Our main objective is to enjoy the first view and sunrise and the first view of Machu Picchu. After the inspiring experience, we’ll have a guided tour of the monument, visiting its most important sections.
After the tour, you’ll have free time to explore on your own. You can decide to hike up to the Sun Gate (about a 2-hour round trip or alternatively, with an advance reservation, you can hike the peak to Waynapicchu for panoramic views. In the afternoon, we’ll go down to Aguas Calientes, either by bus or walking, to take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then a bus back to Cusco, arriving at about 10:00 pm.
