4-DAY MACHU PICCHU EXPRESS TOUR ITINERARY

  Day 1.- Cusco City Tour

The Machu Picchu Express Tour package starts from Cusco at 1:00 pm. We will pick you up from your hotel to begin the guided tour around the city. Beginning at “Qoricancha Temple” (gold enclosure), a place that consists of many buildings to worship different deities of the Inca time.

After, you will walk through original Inca, and colonial streets which are beautiful within themselves. This tour of Cusco also includes the local market of San Pedro, a feast for your senses.

Finally, we drop you off at tour hotel.

Day 2.- Sacred Valley Tour

The Sacred Valley Tour begins at 7:00 am with a pick up from your hotel in Cusco. You will then enjoy a dynamic guided excursion through the magnificent Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Firstly, you will head towards the Andean village of Chinchero. Once there, your guide will take you to the weaving textile center and have a demonstration of dying and weaving techniques.

Secondly, your private vehicle takes you on a scenic drive to Moray. This site is composed of four circular depressions on the ground, which are thought to have been used by the Incas as an agricultural experimental station.

Subsequently, you will drive to get to the salt pans of Maras. This salt mine shows a vast array of pans of different sizes and shapes. Afterward, you drive to the Inca village of Ollantaytambo and have lunch. Continue with a guided tour of the impressive Inca remains. Visit the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the water and granaries on the mountainside connected by ancient pathways. Finally, you take the train to Aguas Calientes at 7:05 pm (Expdetion Train Service) and stay the night at the hotel.

Day 3.- Machu Picchu Private Tour

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will take a 25-minute bus ride up to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Your three-hour guided tour begins, where you’ll visit the most important groups of Machu Picchu. Visit the Guard House, the Sun Temple, the royalty area, the Main Plaza, the Three Windows Temple and others. All areas are connected by narrow paths and steps, so be prepared for a bit of walking. At the end, board the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you will enjoy lunch. Take your return train to Ollantaytambo Train Station. You’ll arrive around 4:30 pm, where your private transportation will meet you and deliver you to Cusco hotel.

Day 4.- Transfer to the Airport

At indicated time, we transfer you to the Airport for your travel to Lima.
