MACHU PICCHU TOUR FROM LIMA 2 DAYS ITINERARY

Day 1: Flight from Lima to Cusco – Private Mini Van from Cusco to Ollantaytambo – Train Trip to Machu Picchu – Hotel Overnight.

After one hour flight, you arrive in Cusco city (Morning schedule). Here you will be picked up by our private tour guide and transportation. Once on board, you will head toward Chinchero and experience the step by step weaving demonstration process. This place also shows you the Inca site and beautiful colonial church.

Next, continue in your private vehicle to Maras’ Salt mines. Visit 4 thousand salt pans built by Maras and Pichingoto andean communities. Your expert guide will explain to you the way how the salt is extracted and sold on the market.

After, take a scenic journey through crop fields and remote villages to Moray. This spectacular Inca complex comprises four circular depressions with stone terraces in its cotour. Most scholars theorize that they were used to acclimate crops to different altitudes.

Later, take a guided tour of Ollantaytambo and the last Inva village. You will delve into the Inca history and local culture. Enjoy your dinner before you take the train to Machu Picchu pueblo at 7:00 pm. Once there, you will be assisted to your hotel.

Important: We will get your flight tickets from Lima to Cusco between  7:30 am – 10:20 am ( Flight tickets are subject to availability).

Day 2: Bus to Machu Picchu – Guided Tour of Machu Picchu – Return by Train to Ollantaytambo – Transfer By Private Van to Cusco Airport – Flight to Lima.

In the morning eat your breakfast and take the first bus along with your tour guide to Machu Picchu. Learn the history of the Inca empire as you visit the ancient structures of Machu Picchu on a private guided tour.

Return to Machu Picchu town and have lunch before boarding the train. The train leaves at 1:37 pm to Ollantaytambo station. Upon arrival, you will be met by our driver and taken to the airport of Cusco. We Will book your flight tickets between  8 pm – 11 pm ( Flight tickets are subject to availability)

The Ministry of Culture has implemented 3 new circuits and 10 routes to visit the Inka City of Machu Picchu.
This is to protect and control the flow of visitors in authorized areas of the Inca citadel. These new regulations will avoid the risk of damage to parts of historical monument and guarantee a quality experience for visitors.

Circuit 1 – Panoramic (Take one of the short hikes and then enjoy the Inca city only from the top part).

– Route 1-A: Machu Picchu Mountain
– Route 1-B: Upper Terrace
– Route 1-C: Sun gate (Available in peak season)
– Route 1-D: Inka Bridge (Available in peak season)

Circuit 2 – Classic Circuit (Allow you to see Machu Picchu from the upper part and visit all sectors).
