Day 1: Machu Picchu 1 Full Day Tour By Car and Train From Cusco

The 2-day Rainbow Mountain and Machu Picchu Tour package begin from your hotel in Cusco. For the Machu Picchu day trip we pick you up in our private vehicle at 5:00 am and take you for 2 hours to Ollantaytambo train station. Once there, board the train at 8:00 and enjoy the journey to Aguas Calientes town for 1.40 hrs.

Upon arrival, get assisted to the bus stop by our representative and take the final 25 minutes’ bus ride to Machu Picchu. Show your tickets at the gate and start your private guided tour of Machu Picchu. Our expert guide will lead the way and explain the history behind each group you will visit on this 2-hour tour.

After, take the bus down to Aguas Calientes and have some time to enjoy your lunch. Your return train departs at 4:22 pm with destination to Ollantaytambo station. Upon arrival, you will be transferred and drop off at your hotel in Cusco.

Day 2: Rainbow Mountain Hike From Cusco

The Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley full-day tour begin at 7:00 am at your hotel in Cusco. Board our comfortable private vehicle and enjoy the ride for 3 hours to the trail head. Once there, get ready and follow the instructions of your guide for better experience. Enjoy this five-hour hike with plenty of time for photographs and history. The Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley hike takes the same trail back to the parking space.

In order to avoid the crowds this Rainbow Mountain Tour leaves later from Cusco. This also gives you some more time to sleep and eat your breakfast at your hotel. Additionally, on this tour style we take a nutritious lunch box, which we will enjoy it after your return from the top.

Finally, we will take our private transportation back to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 pm to your hotel.

We visited Peru during the Winter Solstice which is a very special time of year with many celebrations and much dancing in the streets. The accommodations chosen for us were first rate. We especially loved the Casa Andina in Cusco. Our tour guide, Catalina was a gem. She was my inspiration to keep hiking up the tall and narrow mountains and was so knowledgeable of the history of where we visited. I can't give enough great affirmations for this company. Perfect Trip to Cusco & Machu Picchu! We had a fantastic experience using Mapi Tour. I reached out to a number of tour guides to help me plan my 1 week vacation to Lima/Cusco/Machu Picchu.
