After breakfast, with your private guide and roomy transportation all to yourselves, experience Andean culture up close. Head towards the town of Chincheros, renowned for its expert weavers, to watch a demonstration using traditional looms and plant-dyed yarns. Then drive to Misminay Village. Your visit helps this mountain community and improves their lives directly. Try your hand at driving an ox team, feeding livestock, or harvesting crops. For lunch, taste authentic flavors with the freshest ingredients seasoned with Andean herbs. Hike a trail in the afternoon to see a breathtaking view of the concentric terraces of Moray. Then travel to Maras to see over 4000 salt mines that have produced pure, pink salt for generations. In the afternoon, go to Ollantaytambo Train Station to climb aboard the finest train service to go to Machu Picchu Village and spend the night in luxury accommodations.

Explore the most important places of the citadel: the Guard house, Sun temple, and Royalty group, Main Plaza, Three Windows Temple, and the Sacred Sun Dial. Wear sturdy shoes for this 2-hour tour because you walk on narrow stone paths and steps. Later, ride the bus down to Machu Picchu Village, then enjoy the luxury train service to the Poroy Train Station. Private transport takes you back to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 4.- Travel to Tambopata Jungle Lodge
The Amazon tour begins with private transport to the airport or bus terminal to travel to Puerto Maldonado. Our staff welcomes and escorts you to the dock to board your powerboat to the jungle lodge. For one hour, ride on the Madre de Dios River as you travel farther from town. Take in the distinct sights and sounds of the thick jungle. At the lodge, take a little time to relax in your spacious suite with a sitting area, private bath, mosquito nets, and hammocks. Later, explore the jungle in a two-hour walk with an expert guide who describes the tangle of lush vegetation, and with luck, animals like monkeys, macaws, and toucans. Also, search for caimans and other night creatures on the riverbank in a pre-dinner excursion. Lunch and dinner are included.

This protected nature reserve is home to more than a thousand species of trees, plants, animals, birds, and endangered species. During a 5km (over 3mile) hike, be awed by the closeness of the jungle’s extreme biodiversity. Visit Monkey Island, where you can spot 5 different species of monkeys. Don’t be surprised to have a close encounter with a primate. Return to the lodge for a sumptuous lunch, followed by a climb up lookout towers to bird-watch and catch the Amazon sunset. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.
