Day 1. Cusco City Tour Half Day
The luxury Machu Picchu Tour package begins with a pick up at the airport of Cusco. You’ll be transferred to your upscale hotel and acclimate to Cusco’s altitude of 11,000 ft.
Around 12:00 PM, enjoy a leisurely, private walking tour through the historic city of Cusco at your own pace. Stroll along ancient Inca and colonial streets, where history comes alive and time seems to stand still.
Experience the temple of Qoricancha, once the most religious place of the Inca Empire. Continue and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of San Pedro Market, engaging all your senses.

Day 2. Sacred Valley Trip From Cusco
Begin your day exploring the awe-inspiring Inca sites surrounding Cusco. Take a private guided tour of Sacsaywamán, known for its massive stone walls and panoramic views. Continue with the ceremonial Inca site of Qenqo and two additional historical landmarks. These sites offer a fascinating insight into Inca history, engineering, and spirituality.

Day 3. Luxury Machu Picchu Tour by Hiran Binghan Train
Your day begins at 7:30 AM with a private guided tour of Ollantaytambo, just 30 minutes away. Visit the impressive Six Monoliths of the Sun Temple and the intricately carved Princess Baths, where water still flows centuries later.
Next, board the luxurious Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu Village. Enjoy a gourmet lunch onboard as you pass through stunning Andean landscapes in comfort and style.
Upon arrival, take a scenic 25-minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu. Once there, your expert guide leads a private, tailored tour of the Inca citadel. Whether you’re interested in Inca history, science, religion, or architecture, your personal guide will customize the experience to your passions.
Explore the site’s most iconic areas during a 2–3 hour walk (depending on your pace). Wear comfortable shoes as you’ll navigate stone paths and terraces.
End the day with a sunset cocktail at Sanctuary Lodge, then return to the village and board the Hiram Bingham train back to Poroy, enjoying a fine dinner en route. Your private driver will meet you at the station for the return to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 4. Rainbow Mountain Trek
This last day, we pick you up at 7:00 am for the Rainbow Mountain tour. Your guide and private transportation will take you on a scenic journey. You can even stretch your legs and nap on the 3-hour trip.
Upon arrival to the trail head, your guide will give some indications before you begin the adventure. The Rainbow Mountain hike takes around 3 hours round-trip to the lookout point or summit.
The last section of the trail is the steepest, and the panoramic view and delicious snacks are the award. Please note that the weather is very unpredictable. If the weather is bad, you may have an alternate adventure for your personal safety and enjoyment. Descend to the parking lot and enjoy your lunch box before you set off. After the full day, return to Cusco arriving at your hotel around 7:00 pm for your last night in Cusco.

Day 5. Transfer to the Airport
At your request, a private van takes you from your hotel to the airport in Cusco.
You can also make extensions to visit the Titicaca Lake or the Amazon Rainforest from Cusco.

Planning a trip to Mach Pichu can be challenging, and I only realized it when I finally decided to travel. Corayma was such an amazing person and established a line of communication with me via WhatsApp. I had tons and tons of concerns and queries and she always responded and supported me as patiently as possible. Ultimately we traveled and set off for our trip. Our guide was David, who was an amazing gentleman and took great care of us throughout the tour starting from Cusco and returning. We had an incredible experience with Mapi Tour, who arranged a fantastic week-long adventure for my husband and me—from the Amazon to Cusco and Machu Picchu. Every detail was handled seamlessly, and all our accommodations were excellent. Since this was a special occasion trip, Mapi ensured the hotels were aware, and each one added a thoughtful touch to make our stay even more memorable.
The absolute highlight of our journey was our guide, Karen, who accompanied us from Cusco to Machu Picchu. Her passion for her country and heritage shined through in every moment. She was knowledgeable, kind, and went out of her way to take special care of us.
We loved that we were booking with a local Cusco-based company, and our itinerary truly reflected that. From boating down the Amazon and walking across treetop footbridges among the monkeys to exploring Cusco and nearby mountain towns for an authentic glimpse into local life and culture, every experience was unforgettable. Taking the Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu was an absolute blast and a perfect way to round out our trip.

Awesome Tour Package for Machu Picchu!
This was our first time to Machu Picchu and I was nervous about all of the logistics. We were traveling with a family of 11 with two small children. I booked a hotel in Cusco. I contacted Mapi tours a while back and they offered a great itinerary at a reasonable price. I’m so glad I went with them. They took care of everything from booking the train, to booking the shuttle bus, to booking the admission tickets to Machu Picchu. They were quick to respond via WhatsApp.
David was our guide and picked us up in a private shuttle early morning at around 5 AM. The drive to the train station was a rough 2 Hour Dr. One of our passengers got altitude sickness, and they had solution and remedies to help. David was very knowledgeable. And guide us through the crazy train station traffic. We were there right in time for the train. He even advised us on the bathroom situation (which was helpful). He was with us the whole day. They even included another guy to join us at Machu Picchu since we had small Children. It was helpful because 3/4 of the way through, the little children’s decided to go back so the second tour guide walk them back.
They even made a recommendation and negotiated a great price for lunch buffet at Aqua Caliente. They recommended circuit two for the tour, which was perfect. They booked the tickets well in advance so we got a great entry time at 10 AM. We completed the circuit with plenty of pictures in three hours. We went straight to the lunch buffet and it was fantastic.
We made the train back and arrive back at our hotel at approximately 8:40 PM. All in all, it was a fantastic day for us. David and Liz made the tour wonderful. I would highly recommend going with Mapi Tours. You don’t have to worry about anything.
